JCCNetwork.id – Israel claims to carry out a siege and attack by its military forces on the Hospital (Indonesian Hospital) in Palestinian Gaza in accordance with international law.
This claim was made by Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu’s foreign minister, Pohir Falk, that they took this step to destroy Hamas in the RS Indonesia area.
“We fully comply with international law, with proportionality, distinction, and there is a clear military need to destroy Hamas. And that is what we are doing,” said Falk in his statement quoted by JCCNetwork.id, Tuesday (21/11/2023).
“In an effort to destroy Hamas, as the IDF (Israeli military) is doing now, we differentiate, make a clear distinction between civilians and terrorists,” he added.
Apart from that, Falk also denied that the attacks they carried out in Gaza deliberately targeted civilians. In fact, he claimed their soldiers were the most moral and obedient to international law in war situations.
Responding to the Israeli Zionist attack on the Indonesian Hospital, Indonesian Foreign Minister Retno Marsudi strongly condemned what they did.
According to a report from the Gaza Ministry of Health, around 12 people were reported to have died as a result of Israeli tank fire hitting the hospital. Of the dozens of victims who died, several of them were patients and medical staff.
“Indonesia condemns in the strongest terms the Israeli attack on the Indonesian Hospital in Gaza which killed a number of civilians,” said Retno during a virtual press conference on Monday (20/11/2023) yesterday.
